My Scribe Has Returned!
Not that I'm annoyed or anything, but my scribe (the one on the right, not that you could tell the difference) has been spending too much time with her family and not enough time penning my stories. Do you think her grandsons are any cuter than me? I think not! See for yourself. Below is a picture of Moriah and her husband, Jason, with their three sons Cody (6), Collin (3), and Clayton (8 months) in the front.
My scribe spent three weeks in West Virginia. She didn't forsake me the whole time, though. On August 1 she had a booksigning at Pantera Breads with MJ Sager. Before that, she was in Atlanta, Georgia, at the Romance Writers of America conference.
From left to right: Leanne Burroughs, owner of Highland Press and author of two fantastic historical romances, Jacquie Rogers, Billie Warren Chai. and MJ Sager.
Now that I have my scribe back home, I'm going to wear her fingers to the nubbins with the prodigious amount of typing she has to do for me. Of all the nerve . . . leaving me for nearly a month.
She'll pay.
Oh yes, she'll pay.

Keely

What a bunch of cuties. No wonder you traveled so far to visit them.
:-)

Good grief, Jeanmarie, don't encourage her! My scribe is already carrying this grandmother thing too far. In fact, I had to physically restrain her when her 3-year-old grandson called and said, "Dwauma, come to my house. Right now!
